Performance wise.. wire is wire. B wire is going to transfer just as many electrons as A wire. Welding wire is not more flexible. If anything, its a bit stiffer. If you haven't used it.. you shouldnt really voice an oppinion.

The welding wire comes in a boat load more colors than other brands, but the jacket isn't clear. Angry Eric obviously bought the cheaper knu wire.. or just doesn't know what he's talking about.

EDIT: sorry for quoting you.

The welding wire that I have is just as flexible as any of the actual amp wire that I have had my hands on (Streetwires, MTX, Lighting Audio & Tiff). I have never used the Knu stuff, so it may be like a wet nooble as far as I know but you can easily tie the welding wire in a tight knot (that's how people seem to judge the flexibility of wire for some reason).

Look below for a comparison in size between the welding wire and amp wire. The amp wire is usually larger in circumference (the actual wire strands all together and not just the overall wire plus cover). As you can see in the pic, the Tiff 2ga is just about as big as the 0ga welding wire and the Lighting Audio 0ga is almost as big as the 2/0ga welding wirel but the Lighting Audio wire is actually larger than most 0ga wire (close to the size of the Knu Kolosus line). I didn't have any of the Streetwires or MTX wire in there but they are closer in size to the 0ga welding wire. The Tiff 2ga is actually large for standard 2ga wire.
