what kind of sub?

Trying to figure this all out:

My friend recently brought to my attention that he has a brand new RF Punch P6002 2-Channel amp, which he no longer needs or has ever used for that matter. He is willing to sell it cheap, so I figured why the hell not buy it and build the beginnings of an audio system. I am planning on bridging it to 600W and using it on a sub (still need to find out more about that), but am not sure about what there is to offer out there. I know I definatly would like to have a sub geared more towards SQ. I have around $300 give or take at the moment to spend on a sub, but I don't mind waiting longer and getting something more expensive. If you can give me some suggestions that would be greatly apprechiated.

at what ohm does the amp put out 600w?

Say get a 12" Image Dynamics max sub. Great on sq and get loud. But I think you would be drastically underpowering it with that amp.
