Ok, well i think i might give bandpass a shot. My dad builds custon houses so he's got the right tools for the job and everything will be cut perfect and put together perfect. I just need some help in the design element. It's not going to be the biggest thing in the world. I'll just make 2 boxes, 1 port and one band and i'll let you know how it comes out.

When Lemans told you how they are tedious, he meant the design has to be perfect, not just the cuts.

bandpass rocks the house.. if you have the resources/money/time to make a ported and a bandpass box or two.. then by all means, get to cutting and gluing and make all the boxes you want and shake the crap out of stuff until you're hearts content.. and you'll know which one you like best.

bandpass will get louder than anything if it's good, or it'll sound like a sealed box with holes in it... theres really no in-between

Right which is why i said i'd need help in the design element only. I'm planning on building the ported to the specs of the web site my sub is from but i will need to pay someone else to design the bandpass
