What kind of battery?

alright so im going to be running whats in the sig. so 2000 watts or so. im getting a hc800 for up front an 1/0 but what battery should i run in the rear. i was thinkin a couple dekas or just one hc2000/2400. im not upgrading the alt right now but it is gonna come. just lookin to be pointed in the right direction.

I would install the system first and see if you have much dimming. i would think that any bat even a crappy walmart one wold be fine. you are just on the brink of need two bats. but if you just what to be safe get the biggest bat you can afford, that way it will for sure fix your problem and if you decide to upgrade later then you dont have to get another bat.

i would do a HC1400 under the hood and do a matching one in back.

HC800 is too small to be used as a starting battery. Like audiolife said above me, use an HC1400 under the hood. Then simply add a matching one in the trunk. alright, as far as dimming goes my shit dims pretty bad now an im only running a little over 1k between subs an my comps. but yea i like to play it safe so i guess the the 1400 it is. thanks guys.

I would get the two biggest batteries you can afford/fit.

It's better to have TOO much battery versus not enough. So I would go with the biggest one you can fit under the hood then perhaps a deka group 31 in the trunk. That would be sufficient for 2000w.
