What IT ceritfication is the hottest right now?

I'm thinking about getting my Cisco certs but some other people are telling me Oracle DBA is the way to go.

The Oracle path looks daunting to say the least while the Cisco cert is only slightly different than what I do now.

It's a Information Technology and Informatics Degree from Rutgers University. I've taken classes in programming, web design, human computer interaction, lots of stuff so I'm wondering if I should go for more schooling after college to focus in a certain part of IT or I could get by without for the first few years. Money is tight.

lol that's reassuring =/ so basically I should try to get some other kind of degree/cert. so I can specialize in a certain field?

I was hoping I could maybe land a entry level job in some IT department in a big corporate company to start

CCNA is a great start. It is only entry though.

You get to the top levels of Cisco certifications (CCIE) and you can pretty much write your own salary down on paper.

CCDA CCDP CCDE all good though. CCNA is pretty tough.
