If memory serves me wasn't it reported that one of the scientist at the Wuhan lab visited the near by market in the Hubei province of China?

I don't know that it matters because if the virus got out of the lab it was going to spread no matter what. Hell the bat theory might be right, but the bat caught from the scientist's pet rabbit.

The Chinese were documenting their work on the corona virus pre-pandemic. This isn't just some conspiracy nuts pointing at the Wuhan lab because it happens to be near ground zero, Wuhan was working on corona viruses.

Yes, but no investigation has turned up anything to show any “indication that the WIV's pre-pandemic research holdings included SARSCoV-2 or a close progenitor”.

Unless of course, the lab completely wiped out all evidence that they forced the variant into existence.
But with the way work gets documented in research labs, that would leave one hell of a hole in the evidence chain.

One has to develop discernment for what’s real or not. Iirc China destroyed any information about the Wuhan lab and the virus leak before anybody could investigate.
