Already happening.
The government already does that having banned many of my supplements w/o cause. I can't get M1T because it might be too strong and the pharmaceutical industry doesn't know long term affects BUT I can fkin smoke palm malls all day long.
So they banned it from being produced legally by a pharma? That is not the same as telling you what you can and cannot do with your body.
When the FDA bans it, they say I can't use said product. I could find it illegally in another country but thats not my bag.
Already happening.
There's known meds that slow or halt cancer but they aren't approved for "off label" use in the US but you can get the drugs in Europe or Mexico for treatment.
My last dr refused to prescribe drug X for me for off label use because and they wanted me drugged up on something entirely different and brand new but it had all sorts of side affects..
Again, preventing a corporation from doing something is not telling you what you can or cannot do with your own body.
The FDA outlines what can/cannot be prescribed for off label use. Off label use scripts then puts the local pharma at odds because they should decline the script(worked in pharmacy years ago when it was audited), the doctor gets audited and potentially prosecuted. So yes, its the government (FDA) who making that determination, after extensive $$$ donations from big pharam. BTW, did you get your 5th booster?
There are private organizations that focus on adoptions, my family is dealing with 2 right now. The state on the other hand wants to "reunite"
8 year old child repeatedly ***** by woman's boyfriend. She knew but did nothing because she didn't want trouble. Case work admitted it but said the policy is always reunification. WTF....
Of the 400,000 kids in foster care in the US, 117,000 await being adopted. About 38% of adoptable children never get adopted. Using adoption as a reason to stop abortion is a pretty poor plan. And, adoption and foster care do not speak the kids who remain in a home that is an absolute shithole terror fest.
From what I see personally and what my family experiences, the foster system keeps trying to get the kids back w/ parents. Often the foster family gives up, they have lost hope after loosing child after child back to the system, which then returns that child to a new family because mom and dad couldn't keep off the dope.
99% of all "unplanned" pregnancies are due to irresponsibility. If you can't keep your legs closed or be mature enough to get on the FREE PILL that plannphood provides or the free condoms, then maybe you shouldn't be having *** in the first place. Women, keep your legs closed, guys keep your uncovered d$ck in your pants.
BUT LETS SOLVE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL, free vasectomies. Any man should be able to walk into PPH and get a free snip snip. Hell, I"da done it. No more risks of babies, being trapped in a sh$tty relationship, child support etc..
WHY DOES NO ONE ADVOCATE FOR FREE vasectomies. They're reversable and the man is off the hook and women are no longer burdened by the choice of killing a baby.
Its not perfect by any means but killing another living defenseless unborn human, thats not "a choice."
And the problem with the welfare system is it incentivizes it, women are paid more for each child, and at NO time does the system/state promote individual reliance.
When there's multiple generations that never worked or kids who grew up on welfare that are on welfare as adults simply proves it creates a nanny state. People become lazily dependent.
Again, your logic speaks to using time travel to make the conception never happen. Abortion speaks to the reality that the cells are in there, already dividing. If we want to talk time travel, let's talk about education and birth control to prevent unwanted pregnancy. (And let's not be childlike and say "women should just close their legs".) But the conservative right is against education and birth control. "It will encourage kids to have ***". Yeah, that's why humans have procreated for 2 million years: education and birth control option. 'Might explain why "conservative" states have higher instances of teen pregnancies than "liberal" states.
The science debate around 'what is life' was done many many years ago and one of the court cases, DAVIS v DAVIS expanded on the 14day window. Basically, science agreed that at no more than 14 days beyond conception it is life. It is a unique being, with unique undeniable genetic markers and traits. They decided you have a 'pre-embryo and post embryo' stage, thus the 14 day window. It is no longer "cells" per the scientific community at whole, it is life.
I don't have a problem with daycare assistance for working/school parents. My wife almost lost her childcare because the system wanted her to attend beauty school because "a degree was unattainable" for someone like her. When we met she was successful and the only help she had was that after school program. And the day she got her degree the system cut off her. Way to go MN...
"The system wanted her to attend beauty school". What system was that?
And, she did not get cut off b/c she got a degree. Welfare doesn't work that way. If she got cut off, it was due to a factor like new income, failure to follow program rules, etc. No program says "you got a degree? you're cut off". It's a good story to share (like the people using their WIC card for McDonald's, or the ones who show their "welfare checks" to others), but it's just not how things work. Especially the CCAP program in MN (if that's what you inferred when you said "Way to go MN")
