What is your favorite sub that u've owned?

Favorite SPL sub has to be my old school 18" CV Stroker: amazing efficiency, and it was so ugly you had to love it.

Favorite SQ sub: that's a tough one. Loved my 12W6s, but my 9115 and SDX15 are a step above. Have to give it to the SDX15 for the price, and sub-20Hz wonderfulness it gives me in my HT setup.

My fav is the Memphis Mojo. It gets loud off rated power and can handle way more power, a little bigger box with a low tune makes it sound great and not sloppy and if you manage to mess one up swopping out the cartridge can be done in a few minutes.

Subs I have owned - 12" RF punch Z, 12" RF HE2, 12" MTX 5500, 10" & 12" RE SE, 10" & 12" RE SX, 15" RE XXX, 12" RE MX, 15" RE MT, 12" JL W7, DD 1008, DD9515f, 15" AudioQue HD3, 12" SI Mag, 10" & 12" Sundown SD1, 12" & 15" Memphis Mojo, 15" new Memphis Mojo, 10" Treo TSi, 12" Treo SSX, 10", 12", and 18" Treo SSi

Anyone have experience w/ '05 SEs & XXXs? I had a 12" XXX on around 1800w...but will be going to a pair of 12" SEs on around 1400w. Do you think they're gonna make me as happy as my XXX?

Sorry OP if this is a little of topic

My DD 3515, i just love it, people are really surprised when i tell them i have 1 15, never believe me until i show them.

I have also owned, two 10" cadences(idk the model) and two 10" alpine type R's.

crystal compx2 15. It was big, it got loud, it sounded fantastic. Wish I never sold it, but needed money badly at the time. RE SE and 12w0 are behind it for performance reasons

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too
