What is this blue wire for?

its that little blue wire coming from the digital reading. do i need to hook that up to get the reading? is it power or ground?

i should be a ground since you need a complete circuit to get a volt reading.

Yep, ground. At least it was on mine

yeah its a ground. The power comes through the block, and then gets the ground from the blue wire!
