What is the frequency range where bass becomes non-directional

in a car or room? I think the listening environment has something to do with it, but most HT stuff is set like 90 or below.

I found that if my sub was wired in phase, I can hear it from the back, but out of phase sounds less directional. I keep my sub crossed over pretty low. My HU is crossed over at 80hz, but the amp's LPF is set a little lower.
