What is the best hotel to stay in at Las Vegas?

I've stayed at the MGM, Excaliber and then Excaliber again. So, 3x I've been to Vegas. Toured other hotels within nearshot and they're nice. Luxor is nice too and Mandalay Bay and New York New York are walkable distance. Circus Circus is approx a couple miles down the strip. Also beware that airline tickets may be expensive around this time. You see the gas prices rising imagine airplane fuel.

its a famous hotel that has a famous club in it.. remember real world las vegas? it was the hotel they stayed at (of course it was super extra nice rooms and living space and stuff not just a normal room) and they would go clubbing at the hotel's club which i hear has a bunch of young female party animals..

I stayed at the MGM once ....Avoid,its too big which means alot of walking, it has horrid security and anyone can get acsess to the room floors and rob u .

The better hotels have gaurds at the elevators 24/7... I saw just too many freekish chit happen at the MGM when I was there including 2 violent incedents on my floor with no security to be found anywhere......

Yah, i work with a guy who was a chef in a hotel kitchen- ther'd be riots sometimes and he'd basically have to sit up all night with a gun at his house waiting for someone to try to bust down the door and loot the place.
