What is the best battery type to have for long playtime?

I have about 2400 rms for my system so far. I have an HOA, big 3, stock battery under the hood and a small battery in the back (Krank it up PC 800).

Want to upgrade my batteries and electrical (if necessary) to be able to have about an hour of good playtime without straining my amps and overworking my alt.

What can you guys recommend and why?

Im selling 2 Deka 105 AH batts... Im sure you can get some good play time off both of them with only 2500
Not trying to **** on you but why is every other thread someone is trying to sell someone something rather than just putting in their knowledge about the topic?

i really depends ,if you are looking for best all around battery or best warranty.in both cases i'd have to say oddyssey and xs power batteries.i've used both and also kinetik and batcap, and i'd have to say at least from my point of view these two are the best.even tho oddyssey makes the batcap too ,but batcap is only a 1 year warranty, same with kinetik

I know it seems like he is just trying to sell his stuff, but something like this would be your best bet. I use/have used Deka batteries a few times and they are great. Not super expensive. Youre in Houston, and in most relatively larger cities it should be easy to find a place that sells industrial batteries like C&D

If you buy an XS Power battery (the big one) youre going to be easily spending $350+, last time I checked. If you find a warehouse locally, you should be able to find a 100ah Deka, Powerware, C&D, or other sealed AGM battery for under $80. Locally, here in Tampa, we can get 100ah batteries for $65 each. Heck, I picked up Lifeline Group 8Ds (260lbs, 225ah each) for $110 a pop.

As for Kinetik, Id stay away. Lots of people have had success with them, but Ive had nothing but problems. Ive literally had batteries just stop working and others end up looking like their have a basketball inside them, dripping battery acid out.

Hahaha Kinda just how it is around here... It was just an offer since I am gettting rid of them and Im pretty sure them being 105 ah batts they will do well for extended playing periods with the car off...
ok. I see your point on the batts
