What is needed????

I am considering building my own box. I know nothing about car audio. I am going with a sealed box, and it will be under 1 cubic foot, not sure on the exact number. What materials are needed? What tools are required? How do you carpet (or are there any other coatings)? I need any tips on construction. I am looking to save some money vs paying someone, but I am not sure I have the stuff to do it. Thanks for any info on this.

get a sheet, or half sheet of MDF (found at home depot or lowes or something like that) and a good wood glue and some clamps and screws and a good set of plans

if your just going for a really small sealed box and your this uninfomed about car stereo... I dont usualy say this, but go buy a prefab. Gonna be cheaper for you unless you have the mats laying around.

I was thinking prefab, but keep getting mixed reviews on them. I was just gonna see how much materials would cost, then see if I had the tools required to build it. I am looking at this box, hope to get a price tomorrow (should be around $60):

Build it. You won't get any better without doing it yourself. Use the search function and do a lot of reading here first and you can do it.
