ok ive had my subs hooked up for about a year and they are just some cheap jensens so its not like i have alot of money in em but i unhooked em and took em out so i could fit some more stuff in my blazer and now everytime i try to fire em thres a huge spark and it blows the fuse. i have tried everything and i even took it to my friend who is really good with this stuff and he couldnt figure it out either. i know that everything is hooked up fine but i dont have many fuses left and i think i went through about 30 of em today.... please someone tell me whats going on.

Do you have the subs wired to the correct ohm rating? IF you don't then your amp may be seeing to low of a load and trying to pull to many amps through the fuse which would blow it everytime.

what ohm rating would i need for 2 subs and one amp wired like this....

sorry for the crude drawing.... and this is a 300w jensen amp powereing 2 jensen subs.... please dont make fun they were dirt cheap and sound ok

well its really weird because it will sparck and blow the fuse before i even turn the car on. i start by disconnecting the fuse holder under the hood, then i set up all the wiring on the sub and put in a fresh fuse, then when i re-connect the fuse holder under the hood.... the spark comes.

any ideas from that?
