What is a "ricer"? OPINIONS NEEDED!

I like nice cars rather they are import or domestic. To me "rice" are the cars with thousands in body kits and paint jobs and have nothing done to the performance of the car. Pointless really.

^^x2 on that opinion^^ the rain gutter ricer was a classic though. no matter what's under the hood.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Just so I can make this clear, I am putting a carbon fiber hood on my car, but the main reason was for weight reduction. I a rebuilding my motor from the ground up with forged internals, turning it into a stroker, and turbocharging it. I may also add nitrous to it. When I get done I am hoping for between 400 and 500 horsepower. I will also be adding a nice Eclipse/Rainbow stereo system (or course). Would anyone consider it a "ricer"?

Duno, like everything else in life no matter how much people deny it, it's gonna depend alot on its apperience until u can pwn some people with it. But from reading I would consider it a tuner.

Yeah the rain gutter body kit was awesome... I REALLY want one just like that now! LOL.

I wouldn't consider an STI a ricer... They're pretty quick factory and you can modify them any way you want after that. There is a huge after support for that car! Make sure and check out Import Tuner the magazine if you are interested in increasing the performance.

Of course, I may be a ricer... I haven't found out yet. LOL.

I have a very friendly relationship with all the cops around here... they know my Camaro very well, and my friend was driving the other night and stomped from a light because we were going to race a Ram 3500 (hey, he was the one that started it!) and we just so happened to look to the left at that moment to see a cop watching us... even with that he left us alone.
