What is a good budget amplifier for a single 12 inch SSA Xcon?

I run a fsd 2.6k with no issues. They just put off a weird smell when they get warm though my friend with a 3.5k noticed this also

Interesting, I'll keep a look out. The 85.4 I've been banging on and haven't smelt anything. I have one of those "trunk fwalls" though so I don't think it'll make its way through unless it realllly stinks.

Just has a weird smell. Not the sub's because both of our sub's are very cool to touch.
