Well I am trying to find a new amp for my Soundqubed HDS312. I am new to this forum so I hope I am posting in the right section and I am kinda new to subwoofer and amp. I want my subwoofer to hit a little harder (for example: for other people to feel it and shake the SUV alittle more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif). I can wire my subwoofer to 1 Ohm or 4 Ohm depending on Amp and Suggestions..
I need Amp suggestions and recommendation for a good price. I am hoping around $200 but I am open to other prices if it is worth it.
Current set up is Single 12" Soundqubed HDS 312 Dual 2 Ohm, Ported Box, Wired at 4 Ohms, Powered by Kicker CX 600.1 Amplifier, 4 Gauge DB Link Amp wire.
Additional Question (I'm a newbie):
For example, but is there a difference between a subwoofer running at 1 Ohm @ 1200RMS and a subwoofer running at 4 Ohm @ 1200RMS?
What does 1200W RMS, 2400W Peak mean?
