What Is A Crossover?

In a nutshell a crossover divides the music by frequencies to specific speakers or amps. High frequencies to highs, mids to mids and so on. A high pass crossover lets high frequencies go through and blocks low frequencies. A low pass crossover does the exact oposite, it lets low frequencies go through and blocks high frequencies.
