What hurts a subwoofer?

i have done that before..lol..i mean will any other electrical things hurt the sub or make them blow or anything like that??

cause i took my subs outta my box and set them on my bedroom floor and i hope they are alright before i get them professional reinstalled in a new box...but i did not have the original packaging boxes for them..is it okay to have them just lying around for a few days outside a sub box??

just dont have them near a TV or monitor...i know the screen will go bad or something...there is no possible thing that can hurt a sub besides an amp and human error

Underpowering a sub does not hurt it. If it did, then your sub would blow when it didn't have any power. I don't understand this theory that so many people have. However, sending it a clipped signal is different.

You may hurt another sub by cheating on it with a Funky Pup.

good point...one quick question i have...if i have my subs inverted magnets facing up on my box in my car and the amps in between the subs..will the subs hurt the amps??...i have seen pics of this kind of install..i am just curious.

i mean same setup but subs inverted..still having the amps in the middle..like this....... SUB 0 AMP 0 SUB....on top of the box you know what i mean...i know it will not hurt anything if the magnets were inside the box..but what if they were outside the box and everything else is the same
