What Happened To My System!!!

I have an ALMANI amplifier and a Rockford fosgate capacitor. I recently unhooked my system...but when I went to connect it back...I accidently touched the live wire from the amp going to the capacitor to the ground wire going from the amp to the capacitor. And of course there was a spark.....

now my amp wont power on...im wondering if my fuse is blown or something as a result or is my amp gone....I have a lifetime warranty on my system...but of course I wanna make sure I didnt bust it myself...or else the warranty is void. THANKS!

would changing the fuses (if blown) be the answer to the problem? (Is that a better question for you Techchild)
WE DON'T KNOW!!!!

We can't magically predict what the problem is other than the user crossing wires. However, if you blew the fuses, you MIGHT want to try replacing them before you come on here.

I say junk the amp and cap regardless of whether or not you fried the amp. Worthless equipment.

That said, tell us which subs you have and a budget for a new, decent amp.
