If you don't have a DMM, buy one, they are at most $20-$25 at pawn shops or whatnot.

I'm willing to bet someone you know does, they are pretty common in a garage. Yes an audio shop will have one at least they better have.

What impedence are you running the sub and amp at? Too low for the amp, possibly?

i brought it to a shop and they tested on their amp and it didn't even play. so i called diamond audio and they told me to send it in and give me a new sub
