What gauge ?

Im gettin a Hifonics 1600 wiring it down to 2 ohms for around a 1000~rms. I was wonderin can i run the 4 gauge or do i need to get the 2 gauge. I no if i was wiring down to 1ohm then i would deff get 0 but since im wiring to 2 is 4 gonna be alright?

You can run 8 gauge if you want. Youll only be pulling 500-600w @ 2 ohms. Just go pick up a cheap walmart wiring kit.

Not likely, Its not worth a ****. Ive seen the clamp tests. I did alot of research when i was thinking about buying a maxxonics amp, and all the stuff i found really turned me off.
