I am going to be running 2 alpine type r comps and 2 alpine typr r coaxes... 125w rms for each speaker from an mb quart onx 4.125

Also I am going to be running two alpine type r subs 10" at 1000 w rms at 1 ohm off an mb quart 0nx 1000.1 D

I am thinking 14 gauge for speakers and 12 for subs? Or can I just use 14 all around? (cheaper).

I was looking at this wire

CADENCE 14 GAUGE 100 FEET BLUE SPEAKER WIRE SPOOL | eBay

any other opinions on wire around the same price range... 20$ is much thanked.

I use this stuff in budget installs, it's good quality wire, the jacket is a little thin though.

14 GAUGE SPEAKER WIRE 50 FT CLEAR CASING HIGH CURRENT | eBay

I've bought from the guy quite a few times, great seller.

It's a bit more expensive, but 50 feet should be enough.

I always use 12 gauge for the subs, I use the more expensive stuff because it doesn't take much, around 1700w is when I start using 10ga.

Around 15 feet of this should be enough if your amp isn't far from your box.

So I should definately go with 12 for the subs. ok and is speaker wire the same no matter the company as long as it is real 12-14 and OFC? should I just buy the generic stuff?

The speaker wire I linked you is OFC, barely rated, it's audiopipe, not a big name, that's why it's cheap.

I personally prefer to use Monster audio 12 and 16 gauge, but it's spendy, about 23$ for 50 feet of 16 and 20$ for 18 feet of 12.

No matter what you should get OFC (Actual Copper). and I believe Cadence makes CCA (Copper over aluminum)

ok... one more thing. I am going to get 10 feet of the 12 gauge for the subs cause the box is literally 2-3 feet from the amp if not less. so I am getting the knu for the subs, but does anyone else have anymore reviews of 14 gauge wiring?
