What gauge of wire?

I just bought an Sundown SA-15 d2, and I am going to run it at 1 ohm off of a Memphis PR1000.1. What gauge wire do I need? Length from amp to sub will not be any longer than 8-10 feet.

10-12 will be fine for speaker wire

This, I went with 10 gauge and it wouldn't fit in the terminals I had to cut half of the strands off to fit it. Especially if u have to run parallel.

i'm just running 12 off my 2200 to my pair of sa's. doing just fine

I have to put two wires in each push terminal though, so which would fit?

Neither I would bet ur terminals are 10awg and you are trying to fit 2 12awg wires into it sooo yea gonna have to cut alot of strands to get them to fit or buy some banana plugs...

use 12 gauge wire, what I did was wrap the parallel wire around the outside of the wire then soldered it to make sure it would stay then pushed the single 12 part of it in the terminal. I should have never bought the 10 gauge karma that I have now when I get my new box I'm going to go back to 12.
