What fuse for this setup?

2) Kicker ZX300.1 and 1) Kicker ZX200.4.

4 Gauge power wire should be enough to run to my BOSS 4G -> 4x8G Distribution block right?

If so what size fuse do i put on the 4 gauge wire off the battery? It says 50AMP for 8 Gauge Power wire in the manual.

Also should i add any more fuses before the amps or just depend on the built in ones?

Dual alternators (145AMP), Dual batteries (Going to upgrade secondary battery to a marine deep cycle 1000 AMP), run a plow with this truck. The plow runs off primary battery, they are connected at the positive lead. System will run off the deep cycle, and at the moment the only thing on the battery so far.

Besides the questions i asked do you see a problem area i'm missing here? First complete stereo install so excuse my ignorance.

Thanks!

Provided the equipment has it's own built in fusing, you fuse for the wire. What kind of wire is it? Is that distribution block fused? You really shouldn't change wire sizes without a fuse...

The D-Block isn't fused thats what i was curious about. Should i run a 50 AMP fuse on each positive wire going to each amp like the specs say.

Still don't know what size to fuse off the battery though? 75-80 AMP? Then Fuse each 8 gauge wire after the D-Block with a 50 amp per manual.

Fuse for the wire man, you still didn't say what kind of wire it is. Knukonceptz says their 4 gauge will handle 150A, so I'd fuse for 150A. Your wire may be different, it may only handle 125A or something, ya know? It will probably be printed on the wire. And yes, definitely fuse the 8 gauge wires too, it would probably just be easier to use a fused distro block...

Hind site is 20/20 didn't know about a fuse d-block. Im purchasing the wire separately since i screwed up and ordered 2) 8 gauge wiring kits. Ill get 4G with 150 AMP capacity and fuse accordingly thanks, just misunderstood your question.

I would fuse as per the amps ratings regardless if the amp has built in fuses or not. It's rare, but fuses do fail, so the extra safety won't hurt.
