What First Made You Interested In Car Audio?

My neighbor bought 2 12" MTX's and put them in a diamond plated box. I was 8 or 9 at the time and thought that was awesome. then when I was 13 my cousin had 2 12's I have no idea what they were I think he said Rockford fosgate. When I got my car last June I some subs for free, and then I found this site. Ever since that I have been addicted.

When I sat in my buddy's Blazer with two MTX 10s off of a lightning audio strike amp. It was so loud to me that I couldn't hear the words to the song. I thought it was stupid at first, but then just got hooked. Then I got my Grand Am and started putting a system in it. I ended up being louder than him so he started saying stuff like, "It's all about rocking that gangster treble."

well...when i first got into audio one of my first systems were a jensen 2 channel amp and a dhd 10'' sub in a sealed box that was meant for a shallow sub so it didnt fit all the way to be screwed in. on my boss head unit bass boost up all the way and treble down...i thought i was the shiznit. but now i realize at 10 feet away from the car i couldnt hear the bass. now with current system @ 20+ feet away i can still feel it. my have the times changed

I work at Wendy's and try to save up, but it's hard. I still think my system is the loudest in the whole school.

i was roughly 10 watching my older brother get all the *** from teh bass in his ride when he was going to high school and made a life choice!

actually no, i received some 10" Punch Z subs and a 600 watt amp for Christmas when i got my car and just really got into it

i didnt hang out with the brightest bunch. well i guess one friend did get me into audio... he had a set of lanzar 10's hooked up in his house. it was good for shaking the house up quite a bit
