What equip. would I need to run 2 JBL GT100's?

I just got two JBL 10" subs for christmas and was wondering what good amp I can use. I guess my price range would be around $250(CND)....(the lower, the better). There was a Kenwood KAC-8101D 1-Channel amp for $249.99(CND) at my local best buy that I was thinking of getting....any reasons not to?

This is my first system so I'm not to familiar with all the amps and the best type. I'd prefer an amp that I could possibly get at a local audio store rather than 'shop online'. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Now as far as the wiring kit, they are usually $99.99(CND)(estimate) for the stinger kit but wal mart has the Scosche kit for $39.99. Do you guys think I'd be safe with the Scosche or is it better to spend the extra money and get the stinger?

I could post the sub specs if you guys need it.
