What else do I need

Hey everyone

I just came across a JL Dub 7 12" I now need something to power it

I am looking to really build up a nice sound system in my Tahoe so please help me out

the sub is 3ohm but i dont know what i should power it with.....I was going to just grab a jl 1000/1 amp but is there anything better? Cheaper? I dont mind spending the money on a nice system but if i can get away with a cheaper amp and not really notice a difference why not right? help me out

also what do you guys recommend for speakers I plan to put in 2 sets of speakers I was aiming at the Boston Acoustics but i need some feedback thanks

Depending on the volume it may do rather well. I like the W7s in ported applications myself, but it may be exactly what your wanting.

As for amps, lots of options out there on those. Just do a bit a research and weed out that BS that is normally posted by less then trustworthy members or from those who are just regurgitating what they read elsewhere.
