The car is a 2015 Lexus IS 350 F Sport with the Mark Levinson stereo in it already.

I want to instal a 12" FI Q in the trunk with a JBL Bp1200.1 amp.

And an Arc FD2200 amp for seperates I get later.

I want to keep the head unit stock/LCD Screen etc.

Need the amps wired to the trunk to run both amps.

What I have is...

Sub

Box

0 gauge wire

Two amps

Speaker wire

Kicker wire separater, that splits the 0 gauge in the trunk to go to each amp

Fuse block

Big three upgrade.

What else do I need?

Can I do it myself easily?

I wouldn't say this will be easy especially in a new car like that. Probably going to need and alt but you can wait and see you'll need a LoC. If you need to ask what else you need or is it easy you probably shouldn't be doing it to be honest bro. Especially in a 2015.

Yeah, I figured i would need a LOC. I will have a shop do it for me. I just don't want to spend a bunch of money for marked up parts through them.

You can buy a cheap LoC for like $15 on amazon. I have one and it has not given me any problems. I did everything myself in a 2011 Chrysler and I didn't have any problems. Just make **** sure when you cut into the stock speakers in the trunk you're doing it correctly, it is a 2015 and things get harder and harder to work on in newer cars.

A $15 loc will not override the stock EQ drastic roll off. As in when the bass cuts down to protect the lower quality speakers the LOC will not correct it. A Audiocontrol LC2 will restore what is lost.

If ^ you are using a $15 LOC you are missing out on a whole lot.

Do like someone did a few years ago and install a MS-8 to run the whole ML setup. At least the most important 8 speakers of it and unhook the others if it has more. Add a small sub stage and be golden. He took that setup to finals. I wouldn't want more than a 500 watt sub stage in that car.
