what drill do you use?

Do you have to ask for the batteries at home depot? Because they have them out but non have batteries so you can test them. Sears also. Or do i just live in the ghetto and they dont trust us? Lol
LOL ! I think they do that everywhere ! just ask them for the batts LOL ghetto !

Milwaukee 24v cordless, drills, impact drivers, grinders, ect ....the best on the market. I use them daily. Have tried every decent brand there is. And I also have some of the green 18v Ryobi Lithiums from Home depot. They have actually lasted for a few years now. Those are the best budget cordless driver/impacts for home use.

Yea last time i went there was a ryobi that actually had the battery and i liked how small it was but didnt know if it was a quality drill. I just want it to last a few screws as mine dies after 5 screws into mdf and they were #8 3/4" screws. It really *****. I practically manually screw my stuff in

I use Rigid 18v hammer drill and Impact combo with 4ahBatts..Even the existing batts have plenty of power to last all day.Rigid will warranty the batts LIFETIME if you turn in your warranty card within 30 days of purchase! I dont know of any other that will do that?? (Craftsman? Maybe?)Combo set was like $200 on a sale date, and picked up the 4ah batts for like $169 bucks.I use both at work and home.I can drill almost 20- 1 1/2 holes on one charge in Sch.40 steel pipe, and runthe Impact slamming in 6" pipe about 6 hrs swelling Victaulic couplings together.Dewalt has always been choice of use..The 20v Dewalt seems to not have the load of the Rigid 18v from my personal experience on a daily work load/heavy

You can almost screw an entire box together on one batt with the green Ryobi lithium 18v set ... that is the only to use. Don't get the other plus one crap... you can catch the green set on sale at HD for $99 for a 1/2" drill/impact driver set, 2 batts and a quick charger ....

ive got porter cable, milwaukee, bostitch, ridgid, black and decker and kobalt l, all 18v all lithium. I personally like the ridgid and the kobalt. bostitch is a good beater drill, nothing amazing, milwaukee is a good powerful drill, but I have to keep the battery out of it, because the led light stays on all the time:( porter cable is a beast, but HEAVY. black and deckers a joke.

corder drill ive got a dewalt. really like it too

I have a porter cable 5 piece set that was on sale for $300. bought extra 4ah batteries and i can say i pleased with performance. that said, i also like Milwaukee as i bought a 12v drill just to go with the 12v heated sweatshirt i own. nice warm shirt, especially after the winter we had here up north. as an hvac installer/ service tech, this 12v is all i really need. For putting together duct work, and screwing together bracing for duct this 12v is plenty.

I use the porter cable impact when needed, aswell as sawzall.. but that said, i ike both for professional/daily use.

Harbor freights impact wrench is by far the most useful thing I've purchased there. I paid like $45 for it and it does something like 80 ft/lbs of torque which is ridiculous for a $45 tool. It uses a 1/4 inch hex shank instead of the normal drill with the adjustable head which makes it a little more difficult to find bits but they're definitely out there. I ended up just getting a seperate drill for drill bits and then I use this for everything from long wood screws to brake caliper bolts on my truck.

impact wrenches have almost no kickback when you're using them which i've found to be a great benefit. So often a bit will catch and the drill will throw my hand into a wall, lol
