Jumping back in head first: Advice needed

Greetings fellow fanatics,

I'm a former installer from many moons ago (it's been 16 years), with a system that I enjoyed greatly until about 12 years ago, and my system has been sitting unused (yes I know how dumb this was) since. Well, the time has come for me to finally be able to put this system back in a vehicle, and the lucky vehicle is a'72 K5 Chevy Blazer. It wil be shipped to me soon. I welcome any and all suggestions, as I have been out of the game for a while now. I primarily need to replace my 3 JL 10W6v1s, with a suitable sub to satisfy my SQ and SPL needs. I'm leaning to a single 12 I can run with my ZR600. I got to sift through the stock at my old shop and I picked a monster with a ridiculously low THD, higher than hell S/N Ratio and putting out over 900 watts rms; it's clean, if a bit power hungry, but I love it. The 240 and the 120 are good enough for me and the 7949 was clean and simple. Next will be looking into a suitable replacement for the 7949 (maybe), if only to update it to something capable of keeping up with current media modalities, i.e. streaming digital media for the kids with their Van Halens and their MTVs. I've never actually used the PRA-H400, but I picked it up along with an old MRV-T757 at a steal, and it's pretty rare and quite cool to me. I also have a 240 amp alternator, two deep cycles batteries, an isolator, as well as what y'all refer to as Big 3, which I always referred to as the first step in building system that consists of anything more than a head unit and some 'by nines. Come at me with your knowledge and your opinions, I want them. Keep in mind this is all going in an open air full convertible truck with nothing more than a soft top to start. Please check my sig for the rest of my equipment.

Those subs have dual 6 ohm coils? You can definitely do a single 12 in the right enclosure, though I personally don't have experience with those subs, but I hear they're pretty good. I would do 2 if I were you. Box design will be key for this. I'm not sure what the rest of what you said was except there was an old school alpine amp in there - you'll want just the front stage then? That's generally how we do it here for SQ setups.
