Hi all. I'm looking to upgrade my 2009 Subaru Impreza (wagon) speakers. I was taking my time getting around to this but a blown speaker and another rattling one have forced my hand. I've looked around various websites and just want to general direction as to what to buy/what I'll need. I'm not well versed when it comes to car audio and any help would be huge.
I'm not looking to ADD any additional speakers/sub woofers etc - just looking to upgrade the existing speakers. My car has the small door tweeters on both the front driver and passenger side doors next to the corner of the window. I'll eventually upgrade the head unit but that'll be later.
I'm not looking to spend a TON (don't need anything super fancy) but I also don't want anything that'll crap out sooner than later. I'm pretty confident I can do all the work myself also. I just don't want to buy speakers and then find out I need all kinds of wiring harnesses etc if this can be avoided.
Like I said, I'm not looking to set off car alarms with a sound system...just need something better than what it came with. Thanks!
