What does this mean...

The sub was connected up to 2 sx1250.1's... these are 100% digital... and I also connected up the "headunit" to the amps to make sure they were set IDENTICAL!!!
what does being digital have to do with being set correctly? and what does that have to do with your HU??

and why cant you tell us how your amp is set if it gives you that nifty digital readout?

take it out of the box...and post pics, i can tell you what is wrong with it more then likely

btw...if you think a box tuned to 48Hz is supposed to hit 'low' your on crack.

To add to this, if your box is tuned to where you say it is, and you are playing music and complaining about the sound. The only sound coming form that sub should be an extremly loud fart sound.

As far as the cone slap, take the sub out and check the spiders, then maybe tune that bish a little lower, so you can listen to actual music instead of rolling around listening to 53hz test tones all day long. That is a great way to go deaf.

The amps are digital... meanging the settings... I dont have to guess where each of the settings are at... so If I want the gain "Here" I know that it really is "Here" because its DIGITALLY setup... and not guessing bassed on some random circle with a number on each end...

The sub DOES not even come close to sounding like a "Fart" sound... at all!!! it sounds really really good which actually suprised me!

The cone on the sub was broke... becasue I pushed it alil to far then I should of... he said to play some low hz... so I played 30 hz... ( I didnt at the time know that it was tuned that high... other wise I wouldnt of played it)

Then I was jamming to some music... and "craccccccccck" so ....w.e its ok... its fixed... and did pretty good at the competition!

Well the cone had a crack in it... thats why it always sounded like it was bottoming out...

its tuned pretty high...ad the ssf is now set.... perfect... so no more problems //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
