What does this mean...

the spider came unglued on my SX when I ran it hard COLD the **** spider just pooped right off the basket.... I had to send it to RE. its gotta be reglued if its the spider. but that almost sounds like what happened to me. luckly I had the subs inverted to diagnose the prob quickly

LOL!

I know... the thing is... I can normally type pretty well... its just that almost 100% of the time I'm on ca.com... Im so freakin tired.... but yet cant sleep... so Im usually out of it..

I type like absolute crap when I'm tired too, almost as if I were dyslexic

the difference with the RE and the kicker... is the kickers soft parts are all "Exchangable" with just a couple turns of a socket wrench... so thats where Im lost
best thing would be wait till morning and see what it was when they pull it out. and then let us all know here. I'm still betting on something coming unglued somewhere tho

and of course their **** manuals online are vauge as all hell

The settings on the amsp... I KNOW where perfect...
are you sure? I remember first hooking up my 10's with two amps and the **** knobs LOOKED identical and then the next day I turned th 42hx boost a little and was like WTFWTF+1111!!!1!!!! one all the way up it looked like it was all the way down, I was no sh*t kicking myself in the head

you said you tuned your box to 48 hrtz thats why it doesn't hit low and a reason why its making that slapping noise, your sub isn't going to perform well at all under 48 hrtz, it sounds to me like your box is purely for SPL which is why it would be tuned at such a high frequency, , i had a stroker 12" in a box tuned to about 50 hrtz and any time it tried to hit a low note, it would make that slapping noise cause the sub couldn't perform at the lower frequencies and it caused me to blow about 3-4 of those things

you need to set your SSF higher, around 35 - 40+hz considering your box is tuned so high.

Thats why it sounded awesome with a freakin 53hz testtone and like crap for actual music.

also, it sounds like you really don't know wtf your doing, btw.
