No i realize this, but if it was cheaper to grow anything at your house then to have a huge factory do it. then why do we have produce sections in supermarkets? why doesnt EVERYONE go to the local farmer and buy there fresh goods? because when your mass producing something it is cheaper to make, and you the business man can afford to have a smaller profit margin
A lot of people do grow their own fruits and vegetables in gardens. A lot of lower income communities have community gardens where everyone chips in to plant stuff to avoid buying groceries from the market. And not everyone lives by a farm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif Almost everyone that smokes weed knows someone who grows it; not everyone that eats fruits knows someone who owns a farm. Major difference.

Legalize it, Tax it. Every problem you are mentioning about why weed cant be legal.
Tobacco was never illegal. Tobacco was always taxed. You could argue that tobacco was necessary to help build the economy in the U.S. The same cannot be said for Weed. It has done more bad than good.

You never know. maybe legalizing weed is what america needs to bring it out of the depression its in right now.

what bad has weed done? tobacco has killed what? 400k americans each year? some huge number like that.

im not saying it would be easy to legalize. but it is doable and would bring its benefits, along with the disadvantages. just like tobacco, alcohol, otc drugs, perscription drugs, just about everything.

i believe that alcohol, weed, tobacco and pills are all equally bad, as they are good. so if one should be legal, they should all be legal, and vice versa.

at least weed isnt addictive, and is the only one out of the list that i mentioned that isnt.

if weed was legal and taxed - you bet your *** that a TON of people with enough $ to be satisfied would buy it legaly for more $ vs risk the getting caught aspect of it. there are still alot of americans that have enough $ to be comftorble also btw.

it would generate huge revenue for each state that allowed it.

and it would allow the law departments to focus more on the "crime" aspect of things vs anyone having weed on them - they might be able to take a dent in the gangs and theft rings out there since more manpower might be able to be diverted to that instead of busting people for having weed.

Weed has more bad then good? Elaborate.

Weed has more bad, then good being illegal. Everything is bad in one way or another. Lets keep weed illegal and let the cartels profit, we all know there money is going towards a good cause. I bet you will all want weed to be legal when the mexican violence crosses over to your side, not that it'll help anything lol.

Why does everyone think it'll cost more? Sure the real good **** might cost more, but the street quality **** will probably still be around the same price.

x2.

and mexican violence is already in the southern states that border mexico

right now - having weed to smoke is criminal - unless you are in a state that allows it for medicinal purposes

and you get a doctors perscription to have it - and you obtain it from a medicinal store that sells it.

and I even believe there is a cap on how much you are legaly allowed to have before it becomes criminal.

I live in FL. where it is illegal still in every way.

so if a cop comes up to you and your buddy just passed you a J.

you are in posession of marajuanna - and can be busted for it.

Being addictive is not an issue to me. Anything that alters your judgment is a problem to me. People driving around high is a problem to me. Weed causing memory loss is a problem to me. You say weed, alcohol, tobacco, and pills should all be legal or illegal but then where does it stop? If they are all legal, do we make cocaine, crack, and meth legal too? What exactly do you think the laws should be?

Stretching that a bit far bro, last time I checked smoking weed every day doesn't rot away your teeth like smoking meth does, and smoking weed every day doesn't eat your nostrils up like coke does when you snort it.

laws should be this :

caught with meth - 3rd time offence = death by firing squad

caught with crack cocaine - 3rd time offence = death by firing squad

this should help aleviate the problems associated with those 2 drugs right there.
