Smelling like cigs definitely has an affect on people's job performance. Customers generally don't like salespeople who smell like cigs and coffee breath. You keep trying to make these comparisons as if I said weed should be treated differently from anything else.

You justified the claim it could/would affect their job performance with your little list (smelling like it, thinking about it, etc). So following that same logic path, we should have a test to make sure people dont smell like anything, dont think about anything but their job, and dont stay up too late doing absolutely anything. You really think people here dont notice you tap dancing around your logic like you are on Dancing with the Stars?

You have said, many times now, that you would, as an employer, test for marijuana, But you've also said you wouldnt test for more pedestrian things like caffeine, cigs, or internet porn. If you think we, the readers of this thread, cant correlate that with you claiming weed IS worse than other things, then you think we are all as stupid as you.

Oh, you haven't said as an employer, that you would test for pot? You have, many times. And no, I dont believe you have said "I would not test for caffeine" but you certainly implied it when you told me I was foolish for comparing the two 'drugs'.

A drug addict is someone who is addicted to a drug, simple. And if I owned a company, I wouldn't hire anyone who did drugs, it's an unnecessary risk.
