What I don't understand is why people want weed to be legal so badly. I mean seriously whats the point? If you sit in your house and smoke weed and aren't bothering anyone you're not going to get in trouble anyways. You want to smoke weed out in public or something? It's bad enough we have people smoking cigs out in public and walking around drunk acting like assholes. We don't need people walking around high and trying to drive. The cops don't just randomly pop into your house and kick the door in for no reason while you're in your house smoking and not bothering anyone. I really don't see what the point in making it legal is

Then I'll explain it to you. Otherwise respectable adults, many times having to expose themselves to a segment of society they otherwise wouldn't, to buy it. Or, 'random' drug testing at work, with the excuse that if you pee dirty, indicating you have smoked pot in the past 30 days, this is automatic grounds for firing and/or legal ramifications based on the assumption that if you've smoked in the past 30 days, you have obviously (and legally indisputably) been stoned at work, behind the wheel, in the presence of your children, etc.
To sum it up, the biggest issue was always for me, that as a politically incorrect thing to do, you were/are always presumed guilty until proven innocent. A clear violation of our rights on the most basic levels. All this over a stupid little buzz that is considerably weaker than an alcohol buzz.

On a serious note, companies are not obligated to hire anyone. Having a job is not a right. If a company doesn't want to hire people that do drugs they have that right. So that makes the above audioholic statement useless. If you want to smoke weed and work, then work somewhere that doesn't do random drug testing, there's plenty of places out there.

I don't do neither but I have done both The system stuff both are affect your brain for up to a year and a half after use both make you dumb both stunt mental maturity. Alcohol kills more people but having it illegal would cause more crime and dent to many peoples bank accounts so it won't become illegal.Lots of laws aren't well thought out.Having one drug illegal and another legal is insanity there shouldn't be no difference between any of them.They should all be legal or none be legal any thing can be misused or abused so why is it okay for one not the other I never seen any one die due to massive consumption of marijuana many have died from alcohol either poisoning liver failure or impaired motor function.

I remember why it was started. That dumbass didn't check the door when someone knocked and just said come in. If his friend didn't use a cc that was reported stolen it wouldn't have been an issue. Like I said, the police don't just randomly come into your house for no reason. If you just sit and your house and do your thing and don't draw attention to yourself you're fine. I know plenty of people who smoke weed and have never been caught.
