What do you think of this setup?

Since you'll be diverting the bass frequencies to dedicated drivers, you can give your components a lot more power than just the 70w the zx200 is capable of.

How about a zx850.4? That'll do 175w x 4, and will power your midbass too, so you don't need two amps. They can be had pretty cheap on eBay.

I don't know much about the sound quality of Kicker components, but people seem to like them.

Those Kicker components sound pretty good for the money. not alot of midbass though. But your getting mids too so it should sound pretty good.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/graduate.gif.d982460be9f153bb54e5d4cb744f6ae8.gif

I'd rather do this:

Kicker KX450.2 $160 (rated for 2x150w rms at 4 ohms, but should give somewhere between 160-175 typically.)

PG RSd65cs $129 (People reporting lots of midbass with a clean 120-150w rms per channel. 2.87" mount depth.. make a thin mdf baffle. RSd manual)

There you go, saved a bunch of money and probably get a very similar sounding setup (and one that's easier to install).

You didn't say what you'd be using it for?? Are you trying for a certain sound or just wanna make noise?
I listen to a lot of rock such as disturbed and godsmack... theres a lot of bass that the sub barely hits and midbass thats above my lpf.... im mainly looking for midbass and sound quality.

A good set of 2 way comps with a sub stage will work great. I listen to the same music and it's LP 80Hz for the sub and HP 80Hz for the comps.

so yall think the midbass speakers are a waste of money? If i just do 2 speakers in the front what would you reccomend for good midbass? I dont think theres room for a mdf spacer....
