Can't you buy a new (non SVT) focus for about 12k? Not sure what the SVT does maybe bring it from 98 > 102hp??

I paid 14k for my scion (also in 'top 10' gay cars to most) but I knew I was buying a slow piece of shit in the first place and got great gas mileage which is why I bought it.

Car does look pretty tight though but for 12k if you can get a new one get a new one add $100 drop springs, $150 tint and $500 wheels and get the same looking results.

you could never get a normal focus with that interior. pretty classy in my opinion. and also its the lil things that make a car. this car has a different appearance and even hid's i think. sounds a step above gettin a normal focus putting "$100 drop springs, $150 tint and $500 wheels" and still not looking anything like this.

A lot of people use that clutch for a DD so well see what i think when i drive it.
And there is nothing wrong with Focus's. I liked my other one. The SVT's get faster time in autocross than WRX's and they get decent marks on consumer reports.

But a wrx is a pig. Do you have any idea what they weigh? I would like to see an autocross time of the svt focus vs a 240sx, 300zx (NA or TT you pick), and a mx-6 miata.

oh that makes sense. the older svt stuff is the shit. way above normal base fords. i say get it, even for 12 grand. well depending on miles.

wrx weight around 3100lbs stock. and its not like they run stock trim either. how much less would any of those other cars weight.

probly the dumbest thing i have seen in a long time. if thats all it is then why bother getting something you want. why dont we all just drive the most economical cheapest things we can get our hands on. if thats true then why bother puttin strereos either.

exactly. i drive an 11 year old car with a dent and busted headlight in the front. it is also pretty economical but i'm looking to get an escort to save even more gas money

Very nice, clean, sharp looking car. I say pay whatever you think its worth. If I had 12k, I would pay that though. That is of course if you couldnt talk him down any.

my dad can't get a new focus with his discount for 12k. maybe you can find an 06 for that price but not an 07
