Hello everyone,

throwing around which avenue I should take as far as my amplifier set up. I have a

Sundown SAZ2500 THAT PUTS OUT

600 watts rms @ 4 ohms @ 86 % EFFICIENCY

1200 watts rms @ 2 ohms @ 67 (GUESSING)

2400 watts rms @ 1 ohm (SOMETHING LOWER THAN 67)

I also have a RF T1500 THAT PUTS OUT

1000 watts rms @ 4 ohms @ 86 % efficiency

would I get more power if I run the RF at @ 4 ohms since it is more efficient ? Can someone clarify if they know for certain... I have electrical constraints so efficiency is the utmost concern but still want to get the most "bang"

thank you in advance !

The efficiency ratings you find is for when the amplifier is driven to max output. At lower volume levels these big Class D amps are not much more efficient than a Class AB.

If you want maximum efficiency; use efficient speakers/woofers and match it with a smaller amp. When you maximize the efficiency of your components thru a good install and maximize the performance of the woofer with the right box, you'd really be surprised what you can do with
