what do you play your music off?
@TheUnderFighter good pick? or is the 1 i linked okay. 8gb isnt cutting it, thinking of buying an ipod, but dont really feel like it, idk, the quality isnt as loud?
The one you linked has an advertised write speed of 5MB/s, in reality it would probably be a little less than that. The read speed is probably under 10MB/s. Personally, I would spend a little more so I can get lag free response from the head unit.

Careful, a lot of people have had terrible results trying to use a hard drive. Usually the head unit processor isn't powerful enough to keep up with the indexing. Most people agree a classic ipod 160gb is the way to go. You essentially use it as a harddrive, but it also handles the indexing itself, so the HU is just an interface.

That should be fine, like he said read speed is the only variances. I would suggest going with a scandisk or lexar as they use quality parts and ive always experienced faster uploading speeds with them. I use usb or ipod 75% of the time, sometimes pandora/i<3radio off my aux cord

unless someone can find a better one for the same price or cheaper.

It's all about read speed. All those Lexar in the 2nd link have a good read speed.
thanks, may go pick one up today is it different with all usbs? my usb now is 8gb, and only allows like 250 songs per folder
