How badly do you want this (copper buss bars/copper plate)

My work hooked me up with this copper for free. The large sheet is 99.99% cathode copper (the purest copper)

The buss bars are 99.7% + and my buddy is a CNC machinist and cleaned them up and tapped the holes for me. There for my 2 batts.

I have some more copper too but there in my buddies hands. He is gonna make one more set of terminals for the front battery.

From what I've seen in posts. Those buss bars would sell for a pretty penny.

It is crazy that the metal is so expensive. Where I work they buy copper and aluminum in bulk. So pure Ingot aluminum is about a $1.50 a pound. And pure copper is about $3.00 a pound.

Soak it in some grease. Problem solved. Copper is 2nd best in conductivity. I think I made the right choice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif besides it was free. Why would you turn that down?

Um... copper does NOT corrode it may patina but it does not corrode aluminum on the other hand does/will corrode, most use aluminum because it's cheap!

I didn't steal. I talked to the VP of the company and he gave me the pieces and asked if I needed more.

That's is what I was thinking. Because aluminum cans on the side of the road. Will eventually corrode and break down. I have never seen a penny corrode and break down. Or Lady liberty.

The car this is all going in is my winter beater. LOL so no one will be giving the car a 2nd look. Even though I should be hitting 147-148.

I am 100% serious. I offered him to take the cost of the copper out of my check. But he said it didn't matter. Because were a foundry. We go through thousands of pounds of copper/aluminum. SO he wasn't worried about the 40lbs they gave me.

Damon could make you some. But when I got this copper. My boss did say. "That is all, right?"

But I am assuming you have someone who can make your terminals.
