Just minimum wage? i've been trying to find an okay weekend job for next year when im off at college, and i figure i would enjoy to do some installs. what do you all get paid at either Best buy an dother big shops or smaller non-mainstream shops?

i think best buy runs on commission. a smaller, well respected business might be a better choice. they would probably pay above minimum wage if you can do remote starts and alarms

I dont get paid at all...they didnt need extra help so I offered to work for free and they call it an internship. I work when I can, they teach me shit, I build random crap...works out nice.

i do installs in my garage... some good shit but for radio/amp/subs install i run about 100-120 depending on who it is.. i did this guys lexus last week i charged him 150. but i live in a "upitity" area.

CC pays around 9.50-10.50 starting, then after probationary period around 12-13 per hour plus a monthly bonus check on how many points per hour you have (certain installs count for a certain amount of points, charted with how well the store is selling audio equipment and comes up with a certain dollar amount you get extra per hour)
