My favorite shop pays all commision.. .amp install = 40 bucks so the installer gets 50 percent of that. . 20 for you math whizes

CC pays around 9.50-10.50 starting, then after probationary period around 12-13 per hour plus a monthly bonus check on how many points per hour you have (certain installs count for a certain amount of points, charted with how well the store is selling audio equipment and comes up with a certain dollar amount you get extra per hour)

why would it change the class you run in?

If he runs USACi classes he is put into Prostock class instead of regular street classes because of that and I think if you rn a low streetbeat class you get put into Streetbeat 5 with the big boys.

$12.50/hr plus commision, usually around $200-400 monthly in commision, then 49 - 50 hours per week all in CND funds

well i work a reg.job 9-5 and do installs on the side. i do most of my big installs on the weekend in my garage. depending on the job it varies. like the other day i had an accord for 3 amps, 2 subs, interiors, h/u and custom amp rack charged him 600. right now ill be working on a denali to hook up 3 alphasonik subs 4 amps and the whole nine and he had no problem payin 1500. i also worked at a shop in p.r. b4 i moved. u will make alot more money doin ur side work b/c u pocket all the money. its always the rich people that want more done for less, and the avg. dude that will pay up for a good quality install.

Where are you guys getting all these low #'s from?? Minimum wage is for fast food.

A good installer should expect to make $20 - $30 an hour.

Installers around here make $14-$16 starting with MECP certification depending on your experience too.

W/o MECP ~$12+.

When I left circuit city I made $10.50+bonus.

$7/hr + 1/2 of 'labor' cost.

So say I do two $80 installs in a day and work the front the rest of the day.

my friends a certified technician at best buy and gets paid almost 15 bucks an hour and started in nov of 06 at 8.50 an hour
