Ok, I just ordered my whole system and I was wondering what you guys think it will sound like? Like do you think it will hit hard? have good bass? SPL? Let me know.

My system....

(2) JL Audio 12W6-AE's

(2) Rockford Fosgate 500bd (One for each sub)

A dual Gately Audio all Plexiglass box

(2) Phoenix Gold 1.2 farad caps

Phoenix gold wiring up to 750 watts

That is about it...It will be going in my 96 Grand Cherokee Limited...

I just bought them so I know I will always have the wattage i need....i wasnt sure if my alt or battery could supply the watts.

now, in most situations, if you have dimming lights, the problem is that your alternator isn't putting out enough to handle the draw your amps create. to solve this problem, you need to rewind the alternator or get a better one. adding a cap is like a bandaid to a bigger problem in most cases, like a broken leg. a bandaid is no solution for a broken leg. while the caps will help you if you're sitting in a parking lot pumping with the car off, i'm just saying, that if you are having power problems, chances are, you need a better alternator
