looking for some 6.5 midbass to put in a kickpanel enclosure. got 75 watts rms at 4 ohms to give to each mid. i want to use it as a dedicated midbass. i was thinking about the ED Eu-600 http://edesignaudio.com/product.php?cid=15&pid=31&cur=USD or is there something better in that price range? i would get the Eu-700 but the mounting depth is too deep. i would like something with as shallow a mounting depth as i can get.

Yea those y adapters should have some great midbass. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

am i missing something? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

If they are going to be your "main" midbass drivers....don't do it.

Yes

So put them in the doors?? If this is for your 3-way setup from your other thread...put the midrange & tweets in kicks and midbass in the door.

that's probably what i'll end up doing, but those Eu-700 won't fit in my doors, so i'll have to look into the kickers or ED Eu-600's. really don't want something too huge for the door. i think i'll go with kickers in a sealed door pod, then the midranges and tweets in the kicks. what sucks is i have never done fiberglass before. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

dude, get somthing you wont regret.

somone is selling a pair of image dynamics CX62's in the FS forum, why not scoop them. the midbass in a sealed pod is awesome - i love mine to death. and they run at 2ohms, so if you run that viper amp, you can run them on channel 5\6 and get 125x2@2 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

somone is also selling a pair of extremis 6" mids. those would be sweet too. if mounting depth is THAT much of a concern, work around it. im telling you, if you get a crappy midbass, all your work is going to plain worthelss.

gotta start somewhere.... i'm going to be attempting my first fiberglass project myself. the best part about fiberglass is if you fvck it up, you can either just sand it down and add more layers or just do the whole **** thing over.
