Why come out with new product? Did you really just ask that? Car manufacturers come out with new models every year! So does just about every consumer product! The concept is to improve the product and thereby attract new customers. I know it's a lot to ask, but please don't be morons.

Whats wrong with having a lot of different models? It lets you decide which fits what you want out of it. To me it sounds like smart marketing and advertisement. I love the iPod commercials. Doesnt mean I am going to go get one though. If I get one for Xmas, awesome. If not, I still have a cd player.

I think the video one tho is a waste, It takes special foramts and u have to buy the videos. As the reviews said : "its a MP3 player first then a video player"

you DO NOT HAVE TO BUY THE VIDEOS. everyone says this because they do not own one. now you will not get dvd quality of course, but i have 4 movies on mine that work very well (for free). also, they look and sound fine on my TV in my car. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Actually, the Ipod Video is a very good buy. Try to find any 60GB video player online for 400 or less. The screen quality is very good, 320, 280 or 240 I believe. This is about the amount of lines that a standard TV set will show. Also it will upload any video unless it cant support it or if the resolution is too high. Then it just converts it.
