What do you guys think of the Crossfire XT212?

I've been running this sub for a little over a year on a Crossfire 1000D. I like it but have little to compare it to. How would it compare to other woofers in it's class like a Mag or a W7, in both SQ and SPL? You can check out it specs at http://www.crossfirecaraudio.com if your not familiar with the sub. Thanks.

never heard one but a bud of mine is a cf dealer and he has told me that it is great for spl but not so much sql... and that the sq overall isn't so great...

r u competing or just want to be the loud? because thats their spl woofer if u want sql get the bmf

I don't compete. This is just my little toy. I already have the sub. And I actually had a BMF before that. I didn't notice a drop in SQ. Maybe a little since I went from a sealed BMF to this sub ported. I've been very happy with it overall, just didn't know if I was missing out on something that might sound a lot better.

XT isn't even a good spl sub. The MT has 1.5 db's over the XT easily.

old style bmf pwns all crossfire subs

The XT is definately better than the old BMF's. I know from experience with both.
