It's hard to tell, they don't really tell you anything (useful) about them.

I'm voting crap. How much are they?

There is a shop around here that sells them. They are owned by JL Audio-and I know JL was going to start incorporating some of thier technology into the Total brand. Im not sure if theyve already done it though, or if they still plan to or what.

A buddy of mine got a pair of the 12" 300 watt RMS DVC ones (cant remember the model) along with the 320 watt 2 channel amp. And running off just 160 watts a piece, they got pretty loud. A couple months back he had me buy a new amp for him-so know they are on a Diamond D3600.1 and they are LOUD. Sound like azz to me though. Probably the box though-some prefab ported Obcon box

He sold his old 2 channel Total to another buddy and its gets beat around in his truck kinda-but still works like new.

So really, if you ask me, they arent to bad. With that little bit of experience Ive had with them, theyve been pretty nice.

Oh yeah, IIRC that 2 channel 320 watt amp was in the 200 dollar range, and the subs were like 150 a piece. Cant remember for sure though, it was awhile back.

But as far as the components, no idea really. If they have the SQ of my buddies subs I would sure the heck skip on them.

Gave a short listen to them at the local dealer a few months back. They were okay for the price....nothing stellar.

Yea i looked at the 6 1/2" ones and they werent that good, in my opinion. Then i listened to the Alpine SPS-170A's and they blew them away.
