Holy shit man, looks like you way overpowered that thing and ripped the cone. If ID has recones that will take care of it, but check your gains and stuff, it really looks like you ran that thing way past its max excursion and the cone/surround ripped.

i got bass hungry and turned it up too much i guess.....rms rating on this sub is a 1000w.......im running an Alpine pdx 1.1000....it pushes 1000w rms and i have the gains set a little past 1/2 way i think....i hope image dynamics does recones!

How did you set your gains? If it wasn't at least with a DMM then you probably clipped the amp.

gains must have been set too high. Halfway doesn't really tell us anything and since the amp went into protection mode that states something as well.

Recones are $149 (shipping back to u is included I think, but u have to ship to them)

But it looks like u might be able to glue the surround back with some silicon or something. Try contacting ID first.

If you look its not just the surround that is dead, the cone there is ripped and also badly deformed.
